PFLAG National: The parent organization of all PFLAG chapters.

COLAGE: An organization that unites people with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer parents into a network of peers and supports them as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.

Straight Spouse Network: An international organization that provides personal, confidential support and information to heterosexual spouses/partners, current or former, of gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender mates and mixed-orientation or transgender/non-transgender couples for constructively resolving coming-out problems.

Bisexual Resource Center: The BRC is the oldest national bi organization in the U.S. that advocates for bisexual visibility and raises awareness about bisexuality throughout the LGBT and straight communities.

A Resource Guide to Coming Out as Bisexual: HRC Foundation, in partnership with BiNet USA, the Bisexual Organizing Project, and the Bisexual Resource Center, released this guide to help bisexual people of all ages who are contemplating the important step of coming out.

Gender Spectrum: An organization that helps families, educators, professionals, and organizations understand and address the concepts of gender identity and expression. Helps to create gender sensitive and inclusive environments for all children and teens.

GSA Network: Gay-Straight Alliance Network (GSA Network) is a next-generation LGBTQ racial and gender justice organization that empowers and trains queer, trans and allied youth leaders to advocate, organize, and mobilize an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities.  Local Schools that have a GSA chapter: Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough.

Campus Pride Index: National listing of LGBTQ-friendly colleges and universities.

Campus Pride: A national nonprofit organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQ students. The primary objective of Campus Pride is to develop necessary resources, programs and services to support LGBTQ and ally students on college campuses across the United States.

National Youth Advocacy Coalition: A national organization seeking to strengthen the role of LGBTQ youth in the broader gay rights movement. Has blog entries aimed at teens and young adults.

Guide to College for LGBTQ students:  Created by AffordableColleges.com, this guide is packed with information specific to LGBTQ students, including scholarship information and accessing a school’s LGBTQ community.
